Frequently Asked Question

If 3-Way calling has been enabled for your Users, simply do the following:

• While on a call with someone simply dial:
  • *5 (to dial an outside phone number)
    • The person you are speaking with will automatically be put on Hold
    • The User will hear a dial tone
    • The User must dial ‘1’ and the 10-digit number they want to call (to dial an outside phone number)
  • *4 (to dial another Extension)
    • The person you are speaking with will automatically be put on Hold
    • The User will hear a dial tone
    • The User can dial the Extension they want to call
  • Once the person answers, the User can press ‘0’ to connect all 3 parties. The User can hang up at any time to leave the call, and have the other 2 parties remain connected
  • If the User wants to just connect the 2 other parties without doing a 3-Way call, they do not need to press ‘0’ and can just hang up the call on their (User) phone, and have the other 2 parties remain connected
