How do I update my NuFone?

  • If there is an update available for NuFone, you will see a green icon on the top status bar and also the bottom status bar will show “Update Available” If you wish to update NuFone
  • Click on the icon which will open the NuFone updater. NuFone will shut down while updating and then restart after the update is complete and you close the updater form

You can also choose to check for updates by selecting Help -> Check for Updates in the settings menu.

  • If you have Windows notifications turned on, a Toast Popup message will display in your windows notifications in the bottom right corner of Windows 10

  • When you select to update NuFone, you will be presented with a prompt to choose to update

  • Selecting to Update Now will pop 1 more prompt informing you that NuFone will shut down while updating

  • When NuFone closes, the Updater form will open and show you the installed version of Nufone and what the current release version is
  • You have two options. You can update NuFone or RollBack to your base version or a version in between your base version and the release version

  • Select Update NuFone and NuFone will download and install all the versions from your base version to the release version. Each version will be backed up before the next version is installed

  • To Roll Back to another version, Select Roll Back and you will be presented with a form to select what version to roll back to. Select your version and then press the roll back button and NuFone will revert to the version you selected
